Job Title: Community Outreach Support Auxiliary Member
Reports to: PR officer
Job Summary:
The Community Outreach Support Auxiliary Member engages with the public to raise awareness about SAR operations. This role involves event participation, public speaking, community engagement, and assisting with fundraising tasks.
Duties:
Assist in organizing and participating in community events.
Conduct public presentations and represent SCSAR at events.
Support the AdventureSmart program by engaging with schools and community groups.
Coordinate food and beverage support during SAR tasks.
Act as a public liaison during active SAR tasks.
Assist with fundraising tasks.
Perform other duties or cover for another auxiliary member as needed.
Skills Required:
Strong public speaking and communication skills.
Experience in event planning and coordination.
Ability to work with diverse groups, including children.
